Patches may be turned and flipped. • Drag across the cells to sew a patch. • Drag on from the end of a patch to make it longer. • Tap a patch to remove it. • UNDO takes back your last move. RESET clears the board. • Stuck? HINT sews one correct patch for you. Pinned patches came from a hint and stay put. About Patchwise
Patchwise is a calm logic puzzle about bojagi, the Korean art of sewing scraps of cloth into one wrapping cloth. Each board is an empty cloth, and the tray below it shows the patches you have to use. Drag across the cells to sew a patch, and fill the whole cloth so that every patch in the tray is used exactly once. Patches may be turned and flipped. 10 worlds, 285 hand-picked puzzles Every world adds one new rule on top of the last: • Patchwork: use exactly the patches in the tray. • Knots: a knot shows the size of the patch it sits on. • Holes: leave the holes empty. • Stitches: stitched cells must belong to the same patch. • Seams: a seam line must stay a border between two patches. • Buttons: every patch gets exactly one button. • Grain: a patch must run longer along the grain of the cloth. • Printed: printed patches cannot be turned or flipped. • Colored Buttons: same color, same patch; different colors, different patches. • Corner Knots: a corner knot counts the patches meeting at that corner. More to sew • Daily Bojagi: a new cloth every day, mixing the rules you have learned. • Sewing Cup: 100 sewers race through 5 cloths in a row. Use a hint and you're out. • Kkachi's workshop: spend your stars to furnish the magpie's sewing room. • Food cards: finish a world's bojagi and Kkachi wraps a traditional Korean treat in it. • Decorate your frame, cloth, thread and lattice, and dress up Kkachi. No timer, no lives, no fail state. Take your time.
